Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Point of Sale Berbasis Web dengan Metode Agile pada D'Warung Sembako

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has pushed many micro, small, and medium enterprises to replace manual sales records with computerized systems that can keep pace with daily operations. D'Warung Sembako, a small grocery retailer, still records transactions, stock changes, and reports by hand, a practice that slows service and leaves the data prone to error. This study designs and builds a web-based Point of Sale (POS) information system that automates sales transactions and inventory control for the store. The system was developed with the Agile method, whose iterative planning, design, development, testing, review, and release cycle allowed requirements gathered from interviews and direct observation to be translated quickly into working features and refined through user feedback. The application was built on PHP with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database, and its functions were verified through black-box testing covering registration, login, master-data management, purchasing, sales transactions, payment, and reporting. All 130 test scenarios across the 13 modules examined returned valid results, indicating that every feature performs as specified. The resulting system lets D'Warung Sembako record transactions automatically, monitor stock in real time, and generate sales and inventory reports instantly, which is expected to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and the quality of the store's day-to-day decision-making.
