Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Manajemen Keuangan Sekolah Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Agile Pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Asy-Asyifa

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a web-based financial management information system at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Asy-Syifa using the Agile method. The background of this research is based on the school's financial management, which is still carried out conventionally using notebooks and simple spreadsheets, making the process prone to delays in recording, data entry errors, loss of archives, and difficulties in preparing accurate and timely financial reports. The developed system includes user authentication, student data management, tuition fee (SPP) payments, recording of cash inflows and outflows, financial reports, and access rights management. During development, a new requirement was identified by the school, namely a homeroom teacher feature that provides teachers with specific access to view student data and payment status for the classes they supervise. This requirement was successfully accommodated through the iterative and flexible nature of the Agile method without disrupting components that had already been completed. The system was developed through five Agile stages, namely planning, design, development, testing, and implementation, using PHP, CodeIgniter 4, and MySQL. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, and all 41 test scenarios across 20 system modules were declared valid according to user requirements. The results show that the system is able to support school financial management more effectively, accurately, transparently, and systematically.
