Rancang Bangun Sistem Point of Sales (POS) Terintegrasi dengan Sistem Inventory Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Agile Development (Studi Kasus: Eneng Furniture).

Abstract

The advancement of data technology compels businesses to shift from paper-based transaction recording and inventory management to digital systems to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Eneng Furniture, a business specializing in wooden furniture sales, currently relies on handwritten sales slips, manual inventory logs, and report generation based on the manual compilation of transaction and stock records. This process leads to various issues, such as recording errors, delayed stock updates, discrepancies between recorded inventory and actual stock levels, and time-consuming report preparation required for decision-making. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Point of Sale (POS) system integrated with an inventory system, utilizing the Agile Development methodology with the Scrum framework. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation review, and literature research. The developed system features management capabilities for products, categories, suppliers, sales and purchase transactions, inventory, and users, alongside real-time automated stock updates and reporting functions for sales and inventory. Black Box testing results indicate that all system functions operate according to user requirements, facilitating faster and more accurate sales transactions, improving inventory management efficiency, minimizing data entry errors, and generating reports that are efficient, structured, and easily accessible to management.
