Perancangan Sales Tracker Berbasis Web Untuk Manajemen Customer Dengan Metode Prototype

PT. Inovasi Alco Panel is an official distributor of Alderon uPVC roofing that faces crucial challenges in managing its B2B business customers. The current process of recording both new and existing customer data is still conducted manually using paper or Excel spreadsheets, which are not integrated into a centralized database. Consequently, the company frequently experiences data loss, difficulties in tracking transaction histories, and delays in presenting sales reports, which hinder managerial decision-making. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based sales tracker application. The system development method employed is the Prototype method, selected for its interactive nature that involves users step-by-step in evaluating the application prototype. The system is built using PHP, HTML, and a MySQL database, and it is designed utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. System functionality testing is conducted using Black Box Testing to ensure all modules operate validly. The result of this research is a sales tracker information system capable of integrating customer data management, monitoring sales activities in real-time, and assisting management in formulating more targeted marketing strategies based on accurate reports.
