AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Author Guidelines
The Journal of Multidisciplinary and Intellectual Research (JMIR) welcomes original research articles, review papers, and case studies from various disciplines, especially those with a strong intellectual and interdisciplinary approach.
1. Submission Preparation
- Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Articles should be written in English and follow academic writing standards.
- Ensure that all authors meet authorship criteria and have agreed to the submission.
- All submissions must comply with the journal's formatting and referencing style.
2. Manuscript Structure
A typical research article should be structured as follows:
- Title (clear, concise, and informative)
- Abstract (150–250 words, followed by 3–5 keywords)
- Introduction
- Literature Review (if applicable)
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- References (using APA 7th edition or as specified by the journal)
3. Formatting Requirements
- Manuscript length: 3,000–7,000 words (including references and tables/figures)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing
- Use justified alignment and standard A4 page size with 2.5 cm margins
- Tables and figures must be numbered, titled, and referenced within the text
4. Plagiarism and Ethics
- All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using standard detection tools.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring originality and proper citation of sources.
- Ethical approval must be stated for studies involving human or animal subjects.
5. Submission Procedure
- Authors must register and submit their manuscripts through the OJS (Online Journal System).
- Ensure that all metadata (title, abstract, keywords, author information) is completed in the system.
6. Review Process
- JMIR uses a double-blind peer review system.
- The typical review process takes 4–8 weeks.
7. Article Processing Charges (APC)
There are currently no submission or publication charges for accepted manuscripts.
8. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright and grant JMIR the right to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
