Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penggajian Karyawan Menggunakan Metode Rad Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus: Cv. Alex Percetakan)

This study is titled "Website-Based Employee Payroll Information System at CV Alex Percetakan Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method." The research was conducted at CV Alex Percetakan, located at Jl. Pasir Awi No. 028, Suka Asih, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, Banten 15560. The primary challenge faced by the company was a manual payroll process; this resulted in a lack of integration among employee data, attendance records, and salary components, creating a risk of calculation errors and delays in report generation. This study aimed to design and develop a website-based payroll information system utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The RAD method was selected because it supports an iterative development process and facilitates user participation in aligning the system with specific requirements. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, and subsequently tested via Black-Box Testing to verify that all functions operated according to user expectations. The study results demonstrate that the designed system successfully integrates employee data, attendance records, payroll components, salary journals, and salary information into a unified platform. Furthermore, the system helps improve calculation accuracy, accelerates data processing and report generation, simplifies information retrieval, reduces repetitive administrative tasks, and supports more effective, structured, accurate, and transparent payroll management, thereby enabling faster access to payroll information tailored to the company's overall needs.
