Rancang Bangun Sistem Pemesanan Online Dan Penjadwalan Pengiriman Berbasis Website Dengan Metode Rapid Application Development (Rad) (Studi Kasus : Toko Keramik Sawangan)

Abstract

Sawangan Ceramic Store is a business engaged in the sale of various ceramic products. Its operational activities still face several challenges, including inventory records that do not always reflect actual warehouse conditions, delivery scheduling that is not yet well organized, and limited transparency regarding product availability and order status for customers. This study aims to design and develop a web-based online ordering and delivery scheduling system to improve inventory management, transaction processing, and product distribution more effectively and efficiently. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which consists of requirements planning, design, construction, and implementation stages. The application was built using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database. The results of this study indicate that the developed system improves inventory accuracy, simplifies the online ordering and delivery scheduling processes, and provides customers with more transparent information regarding product availability and order status. Functional testing results show that all major system features operate according to the specified requirements, indicating that the system is suitable for supporting the operational activities of Sawangan Ceramic Store.
