Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Rekam Medis Elektronik Berbasis Cloud Computing Dengan Metode Rapid Application Development ( Studi Kasus : Klinik Kaltha Tangerang )

Kaltha Clinic in Tangerang has implemented an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; however, the current setup relies on an internal server rather than a cloud-based infrastructure, resulting in limited access flexibility and a risk of data loss. This study aims to develop a prototype for a cloud-based EMR information system to enhance efficiency and data security. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method was employed, encompassing planning, prototype design, and system testing phases. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and a literature review. The outcome is a cloud-based EMR prototype featuring modules for patient management, medical history, medication tracking, and staff data. The system facilitates faster access, minimizes data loss risks through automated backups, and improves service efficiency. The implementation of this cloud-based EMR at Kaltha Clinic is expected to serve as an alternative solution for enhancing the quality of healthcare services by ensuring greater safety and flexibility.
