Perancangan Aplikasi Rekam Medis Elektronik (Rme) Berbasis Website Pada Klinik Pratama Bhakti Asih Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

Pratama Bhakti Asih Clinic still manages medical records manually using paper-based documents, resulting in several problems such as the risk of data loss, difficulties in retrieving patients' medical histories, accumulation of physical archives, and potential recording errors that may affect the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) application to improve the efficiency of patient data management and support faster, more accurate, and integrated healthcare services. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that each application function operated according to user requirements. The results of this study indicate that the developed application provides user management, new and returning patient registration, electronic medical record management, ICD-10 code management, prescription validation by the pharmacy, and medical record book features. Based on the testing results, all system functions operated as expected. Therefore, the developed web-based Electronic Medical Record application is capable of reducing the risk of patient data loss, facilitating faster access to patients' medical histories, improving service efficiency, and minimizing documentation errors at Pratama Bhakti Asih Clinic.
