Perancangan Sistem Layanan Konseling dan Pengaduan Siswa Berbasis Web Sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Transfaransi Sekolah Dengan Metode Waterfall (Studi Kasus: SMP Negeri 2 Teluknaga)

Abstract

The counseling process in this school is carried out conventionally in the classroom where the teacher records the data and the results of the counseling in a book, so that the search for data takes a long time and is at risk of being lost, while the complaint process is carried out directly to the teacher or through the suggestion box so that the complaint cannot be immediately known and followed up because students have to wait,  causing students to be unable to monitor the status and follow-up of complaints that have been submitted. This research aims to design a web-based student counseling and complaint service system that can replace the complaint process using suggestion boxes and assist bk teachers in recording and managing counseling results digitally as well as providing online status and follow-up information to students. The development of the system uses the waterfall method with the php programming language, the laravel framework, laragon as the developer and mysql as the database, this system involves three actors (students, teachers, admins), the system testing using black box testing shows all the appropriate features. The results of the study show a system that successfully integrates the process of submitting counseling and complaints to record counseling results, scheduling and managing complaints in one platform.
