Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan dan Distribusi Daging Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Agile (Studi Kasus: Pawon Daging)

Abstract

Advancements in information technology are driving businesses to adopt information systems to enhance operational efficiency, particularly regarding stock management and meat product distribution. Pawon Daging faces several challenges, such as disconnected stock recording systems, suboptimal distribution processes, and reporting procedures that are time-consuming and prone to inaccuracies. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory and distribution management system for meat products capable of improving stock recording accuracy, facilitating distribution monitoring, and accelerating report generation with greater precision. The Agile methodology was employed, utilizing an iterative development approach that allows for ongoing evaluation and adjustment throughout the system development process. Data collection involved observation, interviews with the owner and staff of Pawon Daging, and a literature review. Research findings indicate that the developed system successfully integrates inventory and distribution management processes into a single platform, resulting in more organized stock records, simplified availability monitoring, and more efficient report generation. Implementing a web-based system using the Agile method supports improved operational efficiency and better stock and distribution management at Pawon Daging. Future development could focus on adding features such as stock forecasting, API integration, mobile applications, and barcode or QR code technology to support real-time inventory management.
