Perancangan Sistem Informasi Presensi dan Penggajian Berbasis Website dengan Metode RAD Pada PT Prima Jaya Bangun Persada

PT Prima Jaya Bangun Persada, a contractor and supplier company based in Kabupaten Indramayu, West Java, still relies on manual attendance and payroll administration. This practice slows down data recap, opens room for recording errors, and leaves the process exposed to attendance fraud such as buddy punching. To address these issues, this study designed and built a website-based attendance and payroll information system capable of verifying employee attendance through timestamp, selfie photo, and GPS technology, while automatically calculating payroll from the verified attendance data. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, covering requirements planning, an iterative design workshop, and implementation with continuous user involvement at every stage. It was built with Node.js and an SQLite database, and its structure was modeled through Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, namely use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams. Twenty test scenarios were executed using the black box testing technique, and every scenario returned a valid result. The findings indicate that combining timestamp, photo, and GPS verification made attendance recording more accurate and traceable in real time while closing common loopholes for manipulation, and that the RAD approach shortened the development cycle and produced a system well suited to the company's operational needs.
