Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Santri Baru Berbasis Web dengan RAD di Malika Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

The New Student Admission process at Malika Islamic Boarding School is still done in person and via Google Forms, and the school handles all the necessary documents, payment checks, test dates, and selection results on its own. This condition leads to data not being properly organized in one system, needs constant checks by administrators, and slows down the sharing of information with future students and the school. This study is focused on creating and building a web-based system for managing new student admissions, so that all the steps involved in the admission process can be handled through a single, connected system. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, and data was gathered through observing, talking to people, and reviewing documents. The system was made using the Rapid Application Development method, and testing was done with Black Box Testing. The results show that the system was created successfully and can support the entire New Student Admission process.This includes tasks like registration, managing administrative details, checking payment status, conducting online tests, and generating reports, all through one web-based system. According to the Black Box Testing results, every part of the system worked as it was supposed to based on what the users needed. So, the system we created can help with managing new student admissions, make it easier to handle data and share information, and support the whole process for new students at Malika Islamic Boarding School
