Rancang Bangun Sistem E-learning Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) (Studi Kasus : Smk Jakarta Manajemen)

Abstract

SMK Jakarta Manajemen requires an integrated platform to distribute learning materials, manage assignments, and organize teaching responsibilities beyond classroom meetings. This study developed a web-based e-learning system using Rapid Application Development through requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover. Requirements were identified through observation, interviews, and a literature review. The application was implemented with Laravel 10, PHP 8, MySQL, and Bootstrap 5, providing separate access for administrators, teachers, and students. Its functions include learning material management, assignment submission, grading, teacher assignment to subjects and classes, teaching schedule information, and weekly material upload monitoring. Black Box Testing covered 38 scenarios, all of which produced the expected outcomes. User Acceptance Testing involved 53 unique respondents, comprising one administrator, seven teachers, and 45 students. Each respondent performed eight role-specific scenarios, resulting in 424 reported scenario executions with a success rate of 100%. These findings indicate that the implemented functions met the tested requirements and were accepted by participating users. The evaluation was limited to functionality and user acceptance within the school; improvements in student learning outcomes were not measured.
