The student attendance recording process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Miftahul Salam is currently still conducted conventionally using physical attendance logbooks. This manual method has several drawbacks, such as the risk of data damage or loss, susceptibility to human error, and a time-consuming process for monthly data recapitulation. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based attendance application integrated with Quick Response Code (QR Code) technology at MI Miftahul Salam. The system was developed using the Agile methodology with the Scrum framework, enabling adaptive, iterative, and responsive software development tailored to user needs through sprint stages. This web-based application utilizes unique QR Codes printed on student ID cards as a fast and accurate attendance scanning medium. The results show that the web-based attendance application was successfully implemented and helped teachers and administrative staff manage attendance data, minimize recapitulation errors, and provide real-time attendance reports. Based on functionality testing using Black-Box Testing, all features functioned properly and were deemed suitable for improving school administration efficiency at MI Miftahul Salam.
