Perancangan Sistem Informasi Bimbingan Konseling Berbasis Website Menggunakan Metode Prototipe (Studi Kasus: SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug)

The Guidance and Counseling (GC) unit at SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug currently relies on manual routines for recording attendance, documenting Home Visits, and running the Work, Continue Education, and Entrepreneurship (BMW) assessment, a situation that limits how effectively student data can be tracked and monitored. This research responds to that gap by designing and building a web-based Guidance and Counseling Information System through the Prototype Method, an approach chosen for its capacity to keep users engaged across repeated cycles of evaluation and refinement. Built on the Laravel framework with a MySQL database, the resulting system combines attendance monitoring, an Early Warning System (EWS), Home Visit management, the BMW assessment, and automatic report generation into a single platform. It gives GC teachers a way to organize student records, track attendance patterns, document Home Visit activities, and receive BMW recommendations without manual calculation. The system is intended to make Guidance and Counseling services at SMK PGRI 11 Ciledug run more effectively and efficiently going forward
