Pengembangan Sistem Presensi dan Penggajian Berbasis Progressive Web App dengan QR Code dan Validasi Lokasi

Abstract

Attendance and payroll management at Yayasan As-Syafii Hardhan Indonesia was previously carried out by sending attendance photos to a WhatsApp group and processing the data separately. This condition required attendance records to be recapitulated before being used for administrative and payroll activities. This study aims to develop an employee attendance and payroll management system based on a Progressive Web App (PWA) using QR Code and location validation. The system was developed using the Agile method with the Scrum framework through product backlog, sprint planning, sprint, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The resulting system integrates employee data management, check-in and check-out using QR Code with location validation, leave requests, attendance recapitulation, and payroll management covering salary data, deductions, and payslips. Testing consisted of White Box Testing, Black Box Testing, and Beta Testing. White Box Testing of location validation produced six independent paths, while Black Box Testing showed that all tested scenarios were valid. Beta Testing involving 25 respondents produced a score of 96%, categorized as Very Good, compared with 59.97% before implementation. The results indicate that the developed system supports more integrated attendance and payroll administration.
